Veridia Update — New Home, Ferrulith, and Boss-Only Raids

This update brings three major additions to Veridia: a completely new Home, the Ferrulith community skilling boss, and solo Boss-Only versions of all three raids.

New Home

The old Home has been retired in favour of a completely rebuilt area with its own much more condensed layout and identity. We're hoping this will help keep new players who decide to try our server out and were getting confused by the old huge home layout.

Introducing Ferrulith

Ferrulith is Veridia’s brand-new community skilling boss. Levels gained across the server contribute towards awakening it.

Boss-Only Raids

Boss-Only raids are a completely new solo mode for Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood, and Tombs of Amascut.

• Skip the usual raid rooms and take on the main bosses.

• Boss-Only completions and rewards are tracked separately from standard raids.

• Each raid has its own Boss-Only purple rate and drop-rate cap.

• Global drop-rate bonuses still apply up to the relevant cap.

Realism & Extreme Game Modes

Realism and Extreme are now available as new progression modes for players looking for a longer, more rewarding grind. These are separate from your account type, allowing Regular, Ironman, Hardcore Ironman and Ultimate Ironman accounts to choose their preferred progression. Group Ironman accounts will remain on Normal progression for now.

• Realism begins at 25x XP and falls to 3x at P10.

• Extreme begins at 10x XP and falls to 1x at P10.

• XP rates are tracked per skill, based on that skill’s current prestige.

• Building prestige across your account unlocks stronger perks, improved chances at selected PvM uniques, a chance to roll the unique table a second time, cheaper prestige costs and more remnants points when prestiging.

• Realism and Extreme each have separate Fresh and Reborn Hiscores.

These choices are permanent. Normal accounts may use their one lifetime rebirth to enter Realism or Extreme, while Realism accounts may rebirth into Extreme. Rebirth is handled by The Chronicler at Home and resets your skills and prestige progress while keeping your items, unlocks and completed content.

Xamphur Vote Boss Rewards

Xamphur’s reward table has received a major buff.

Guaranteed Rewards

• 3 Tomes of Experience.

• 500K coins.

Rare Rewards

• Vote shard drops have been doubled to 10 shards.

• The Donator Pin 10 now has its own 1-in-300 roll.

• Xamphur can now drop a random complete Barrows armour set.

Super-Rare Rewards

• Korasi.

• Lava Whip.

• Death Cape.

Donation Boss — Work in Progress

Work has started on a new community Donation Boss using the Angel of Death encounter.

The Donation Boss is still a work in progress and is not ready for normal play. More information will be shared once its combat, rewards, and community milestone system are ready.

Gameplay & Rewards

• Successful Prifddinas elf pickpockets now progress Pickpocket Elves skilling contracts.

• The Well of Goodwill is now always open for donations and boost activation.

• Inspecting the Well now displays pooled GP progress, contributor totals, your contribution, and the top donors.

Fixes

• Fixed metallic dragonfire protection. Dragonfire-capable shields now limit damage to 5, while combined antifire protection blocks it completely.

• Fixed older saved herb patches so automatic harvesting continues and patches deplete correctly.

• Restored Probita to the East Ardougne pet insurance bureau while keeping her Home location.

• Fixed the Well of Goodwill’s top-donor list so contributors are ranked by donation amount.
