Veridia 1.2.0 - Barrows Ward, Wintertodt Damage Fixes and Internal Referral Cleanup
Barrows Ward has been added as a new remnant boon, giving players a permanent way to block Barrows prayer drain after Ghommal’s Medium reward. Wintertodt damage has also been fixed so low-Hitpoints players are not getting hit far too hard. Also done some major cleanup internally for referrals.
Veridia 1.2.0 - Barrows Ward and Wintertodt Damage Fixes
This update adds a new Barrows remnant boon and fixes Wintertodt damage scaling.
There are also a few smaller fixes for referrals, donator items, and tool handling.
Highlights
Barrows Ward has been added for 2,500 remnant points.
Barrows Ward blocks Barrows tunnel prayer drain after claiming Ghommal’s Medium combat achievement reward.
Wintertodt cold, brazier, and snowfall damage now scale properly again.
Referral claims should no longer fail during reward delivery checks.
Donator trident and donator equipment handling has been cleaned up.
Barrows Ward
Barrows Ward has been added as a new remnant boon for 2,500 remnant points.
After claiming Ghommal’s Medium combat achievement reward, players can unlock Barrows Ward to permanently block Barrows prayer drain without needing to equip the hilt.
Qualifying Ghommal hilt rewards still work as they did before. This just adds a permanent remnant option for players who want the effect without using the equipment slot.
Wintertodt Damage
Wintertodt damage has been fixed.
Cold damage, brazier damage, and snowfall damage now scale from your Hitpoints and Firemaking levels again.
This means low-Hitpoints players should no longer take oversized hits like 30+ damage at Wintertodt.
Other Fixes
A few smaller fixes are included in this update.
Referrals have had a few bug fixes and hardening around abuse issues.
Donator trident item actions now work without startup conflicts.
Donator equipment death handling now stays on the correct donator handler.
