Veridia 1.14.0 — Simplified Forestry, Collection Logs, and New Prestige Effects

Forestry now has a complete reward loop, Collection Log rewards have been reworked, and several prestige paths have gained new benefits. This update also includes fixes from beta testing across Farming Timers, raids, Slayer, pets, banking, and Group Ironman storage.

Forestry Rewards

Forestry now rewards Woodcutting with anima-infused bark, new equipment, improved log storage, and two rare cosmetic rewards.

• The Forestry kit is available from the Skilling Points shop for 300 points.

• While wearing the Forestry kit or log basket, successful chops have a 1-in-5 chance to award 5 anima-infused bark.

• The Friendly Forester at home now runs the Forestry Rewards shop:

  • Log basket: 5,000 bark

  • Felling axe handle: 10,000 bark

  • Twitcher's gloves: 5,000 bark

• Felling axe handles can be combined with Bronze through 3rd age axes, including Crystal axes.

• Felling axes make two independent Woodcutting success rolls.

• Successful chops with a felling axe can award:

  • Golden pheasant egg: 1 in 5,000

  • Fox whistle: 1 in 5,000

• Felling axes now use their correct chopping, movement, combat, and two-handed stance animations.

• Twitcher's gloves reduce bonfire timing by one tick and also reduce the time needed to feed kindling into a Wintertodt brazier by one tick.

Log Baskets

Log baskets can be opened to collect carried logs and will continue storing eligible logs while open.

• Base capacity starts at 28 logs and scales with donor rank:

  • Premium: 56

  • Expansion: 100

  • Extreme: 175

  • Respected: 250

  • Legendary: 500

  • Mythical: 600

  • Uber and Amascut: 750

• Stored logs can be emptied directly into your bank.

• Any logs that do not fit remain safely inside the basket.

• Non-empty baskets can no longer be destroyed.

Collection Log Rewards

Collection Log completion rewards have been rebalanced across the game, with high-value bonds concentrated on approved late-game logs.

• Bonds are now on 22 logs:

  • Six $25 bonds

  • Nine $10 rank bonds

  • Seven $5 rank bonds

• The full Collection Log catalogue contains $275 in bond rewards.

• A new $5 rank bond has been added.

• Collection Log completions and successful reward claims are now announced globally.

• These announcements respect your existing rare-drop broadcast setting.

• Regular accounts receive Collection Log rewards in the bank, with inventory or ground fallback when necessary.

• Ultimate Ironmen receive rewards in their inventory, with overflow dropped nearby.

Players who claimed Collection Log rewards before this update can speak to the Veridia Guide at home to claim any positive additions from the new reward packages. This is a one-time claim and does not remove or replace rewards you previously received.

The Masori, Ancestral, and Torva boot ornament kits now work correctly:

• Masori kit + Pegasian boots

• Ancestral kit + Eternal boots

• Torva kit + Primordial boots

Each upgraded pair retains the original boots' stats and requirements and can be dismantled back into the boots and ornament kit.

Prestige & Progression

Fishing Prestige

Fishing prestige now benefits more Fishing activities.

• P3 unlocks a 10% chance to preserve bait.

• Bait preservation scales up to 50% at P10.

• Spirit-flake bonus catches grant their matching Fishing XP from P3.

• Barbarian Fishing Agility and Strength XP increases by 2% per prestige, up to 20%.

• Normal Tempoross cannon and spirit-pool damage increases by 2% per prestige, up to 20%.

• Successful Molch pearl rewards gain a 2% chance per prestige to award an extra pearl, up to 20%.

• Fishing now guarantees catches every:

  • 3 ticks at P5

  • 2 ticks at P8

  • 1 tick at P10

• A Barbarian Fishing spot has been added to UDI.

These prestige effects remain disabled in PvP areas.

Runecrafting Prestige

Runecrafting P5 can now craft directly from essence stored in carried pouches.

• Loose inventory essence is consumed first.

• Any remaining requirement is taken directly from your pouches.

• Rune, pure, and daeyalt essence are supported.

• The perk works at standard and combination altars.

• Pouch capacity, rune multipliers, and Runecrafting XP are unchanged.

• Dark essence crafting is unchanged.

Prayer Prestige

Prayer P10 now always bypasses supported NPC protection prayers at 30% of the hit's rolled damage.

This applies to supported PvM encounters, including Demonic Gorillas, Akkha, and Tormented Demons. It does not affect PvP, cannon hits, non-player damage, or normal misses.

Champion and Completionist Progression

• Champion Collection Log progress now comes from unique unlocked slots instead of requiring fully completed logs.

• Champion Rank 10 now requires all skills at P10 and 905 unique Collection Log slots.

• Champion-selected Slayer tasks now respect active task extensions when displaying and assigning task amounts.

• Tier 3 Completionist now requires Champion Rank 9.

• Its existing requirements for every skill at P10, all Achievement Diaries, and all Combat Achievements remain unchanged.

Bosses & Combat

• Restored Tombs of Amascut unique rates to the intended 2x Veridia rate.

  • A 37,000-point raid at level 400 now has a 20% unique chance before applicable boosts.

  • The final unique chance remains capped at 55%.

• Added settings for Skip Kraken tentacles and Skip CoX puzzle rooms.

  • Both remain enabled by default, preserving the faster encounter versions.

  • Disable them when you need the original mechanics for Combat Achievements.

• Sarachnis Slayer ring teleports now place you outside the crypt entrance instead of inside a broken arena. Enter through the web to create the proper private encounter.

Quality of Life

• The Farming Timers panel now receives Veridia's actual accelerated growth deadlines instead of estimating with standard OSRS timings.

• Supported herb, allotment, tree, Farming Guild, Prifddinas, hardwood, seaweed, and Hosidius grape patches now map to the correct timer entry.

• Cleared, dead, and completed patches now remove stale timers.

• All ten monkey pet forms can now be insured and reclaimed through Probita as one pet family.

• Cache-backed outfit sets, including the Smiths' Uniform, can now be stored in a magic wardrobe.

• Ghommal's Avernic defenders 5 and 6 now preserve the standard Avernic defender bank placeholder when withdrawn.

Fixes

• Fixed Group Ironman storage reverting after server updates, which could restore items that had already been withdrawn.

• Fixed Achievement Diary rewards and perks being available when an earlier tier in the same area was incomplete.

• Fixed Scurrius definitions replacing Raeli, Mogrim, and Stuliette around Port Piscarilius.

• Fixed gathering prestige auto-bank bonuses sending resources to Ultimate Ironman banks.

• Fixed Champion-selected Slayer tasks ignoring enabled task extensions.

• Fixed Kraken tentacle and Chambers of Xeric puzzle Combat Achievements being unobtainable while the faster encounter settings were active.

• Fixed Farming Timers showing standard OSRS completion times after planting accelerated Veridia crops.
