Veridia 1.12.1 — Drop Rate Repairs, Raid Rewards, and Combat Fixes

This update corrects how player drop-rate bonuses interact with weighted reward tables, ensuring high bonuses improve eligible rare rolls without making other rewards unobtainable. It also updates raid purple calculations and fixes an issue with Defence Prestige damage reduction.

Drop Rate Repairs

Some weighted drop tables were applying the player’s drop-rate bonus while selecting the reward. At higher bonuses, this favoured entries near the beginning of the table and could prevent later entries from being rolled at all.

Drop-rate bonuses now improve the chance of reaching an eligible rare table once. When successful, the reward is selected using the table’s original weighting, ensuring every item remains obtainable at its intended rate. Existing boosted server rates have not been reduced.

  • Fixed weighted drop tables favouring early entries or cutting off later rewards for players with high drop-rate bonuses.

  • Fixed player drop-rate bonuses not applying to eligible rare rolls from:

    • Desert Treasure II bosses

    • Royal Titans

    • Sarachnis

    • Araxxor

    • Revenants

    • Maledictus

    • Wilderness Slayer rewards

    • Shared clue drops

  • Fixed shared boss-pet rolls, including God Wars Dungeon pets and the Smoldering Demon, so drop-rate bonuses apply once.

  • Fixed the Wintertodt Phoenix receiving the same drop-rate bonus twice.

  • Fixed affected boss and pet entries in the Drop Viewer showing base rates instead of the player’s adjusted rates.

  • Guaranteed rewards, common-table selections, and fixed-rate rewards remain unaffected by drop-rate bonuses.

Raid Rewards

  • Rebalanced Theatre of Blood team purple rates to:

    • 15% in Normal Mode

    • 18% in Hard Mode

These rates are applied before the existing performance, death, and capped booster adjustments.

  • Fixed Chambers of Xeric purple chances using a separate hidden point total. Displayed team raid points now determine the purple chance, while displayed personal points determine who receives it.

  • Fixed Theatre of Blood purple recipient selection rounding contribution percentages. Exact contribution points now determine the recipient.

Combat Fixes

  • Fixed Defence Prestige damage reduction issues.
