Veridia 0.39.0 - Updated Skilling Contracts, New Remnant Boons, and General Fixes
New remnant boons have been added, several annoying skilling contracts have been cleaned up, Elder maul and Dragon claws animations are fixed, and a batch of pet, collection log, clan chat, Construction, and Xeric’s talisman issues have been sorted.
Veridia 0.39.0 - Updated Skilling Contracts, New Remnant Boons, and General Fixes
This update brings in a few new remnant boons, adjusts some of the rougher skilling contracts, and fixes a lot of small but annoying issues reported over the last couple of days.
Highlights
New remnant boons have been added for Soul bearer use, processing speed, enchanting speed, and wyvern protection.
Skilling contracts now avoid some of the slower and more awkward objectives.
Elder maul special attack now works properly.
Rax, Nid, and Smoldering Demon pet issues have been fixed.
Chambers of Xeric, Nightmare, and Phosani loot tracking should now work properly.
Personal clan chats now save properly across restarts.
Xeric’s talisman charging and mounted POH teleports have been fixed.
New Remnant Boons
A few new remnant boons have been added.
Soul Harvest lets charged Soul bearers consume dropped ensouled heads for Prayer XP instead of needing to bank them.
Master Supplier gives 2x speed for:
Cooking
Potion making
Farming harvests
Master Enchanter gives 2x speed for:
Bolt enchanting
Jewellery enchanting
Wyvern Ward lets players keep mind shield protection against wyverns without needing to equip the shield.
Master of the Craft also had a few missing actions fixed. Its speed bonus now applies to more manual skilling actions, including furnace smelting, leather crafting, battlestaves, glassblowing, and spinning flax.
Skilling Contract Changes
Some skilling contracts have been adjusted so they feel more in line with the rest.
The following outlier contracts have been retired and replaced:
Fruit tree health checks
Pie baking
Dragon ammo fletching
These have been replaced with more reasonable objectives, including herb harvesting, fish cooking, and bow fletching.
Hunter chinchompa contracts have also been reduced:
Grey chinchompas: 50
Red chinchompas: 35
Black chinchompas: 25
Progress has also been fixed for the new contract objectives, including cadantine and dwarf weed harvesting, sea turtle and anglerfish cooking, yew shortbow fletching, and magic longbow fletching.
Farmer outfit patch reward rolls now use the new herb-harvest objectives instead of the old tree check-health tasks.
Combat and Boss Fixes
Elder maul special attack now works properly.
Pulverize now consumes 50% special attack energy, uses the correct crush special hit, and drains Defence correctly. Tekton also uses the reduced miss drain where intended.
Elder maul and Dragon claws animations have also been fixed so their idle, movement, block, attack, and special attack animations display properly again.
Sumona’s Slayer task list now shows her boss tasks correctly, including Corporeal Beast.
Pets and Collection Log
A few pet issues have been cleaned up.
Rax has been removed from the collection log (as its a transmog of nid not a new pet)
Nid now uses the correct item model.
Using coagulated venom on a summoned Nid now unlocks the Nid and Rax metamorph.
Nid can now be insured through Probita.
Rax pickups now reclaim as Nid where needed.
Nid and Rax followers now have the Metamorph right-click option in-game.
Smoldering Demon pet now counts in the collection log.
Smoldering Demon pet now appears in the Tormented Demons drop table viewer.
Araxxor coagulated venom drops now stop once the Nid metamorph unlock has been used.
Loot Tracking
Loot tracking has been fixed for a few major pieces of content.
Chambers of Xeric rewards are now recorded properly on RuneLite Loot tracking.
Nightmare and Phosani loot tracking has also been fixed.
Construction and Teleports
Several Construction and teleport issues have been fixed.
The Grand Tree royal seed pod room now has its ground-floor ladder back.
Portal Nexus amulet spaces now support mounted Xeric’s talisman and mounted digsite pendant properly.
Mounted Xeric’s talisman and mounted digsite pendant now open the correct teleport menus.
Xeric’s Honour remains locked behind the proper permanent unlock.
Xeric’s Heart and Digsite diary teleports are now awarded correctly.
Diary and Combat Achievement XP lamps now recognize owned player houses when choosing Construction.
Xeric’s talisman can now be charged with lizardman fangs.
Xeric’s talisman teleports now consume charges from the talisman you clicked.
Ancient tablets now unlock Xeric’s Honour properly.
Soul Bearer and Item Use Fixes
Soul bearer behavior has been fixed.
Fill now banks supported ensouled heads from your inventory, using ensouled heads on the Soul bearer banks matching copies, and blood and soul runes now charge it properly.
Ensouled hellhound heads are now supported too.
A batch of item-on-item actions have also been fixed, including chronicle cards, coal bags, enchantment tablets, ornament kits, chargeable rings, tomes, buckets, soul bearers, venator bows, and hot-water bowls.
Other Fixes
A few more fixes made it into this release.
Personal clan chats now save prefixes, ranks, bans, and disabled state properly across restarts.
Tanners can now process noted cowhide, snakeskin, and dragonhide stacks while keeping noted outputs stackable.
Ancient book now has a right-click Inspect option explaining its hidden +2% magic damage passive.
Experience lamp interface text has been fixed so the interface no longer crashes on open.
Lit bug lantern extinguishing now works properly again.
