Veridia 0.25.0 - Combat Accuracy, Revenant Weapons, and Ironman Shop Updates
Veridia 0.25.0 brings a large combat update, more Ironman donor shop quality-of-life stock, and a lot of fixes around revenant weapons, Wilderness deaths, overhealing, Ava’s devices, and crystal armour.
Highlights
Added more Ironman donor shop stock.
Updated melee, magic, ranged, bolt special, and special weapon accuracy.
Updated elemental spell damage order.
Updated revenant weapon charge and boost behaviour.
Updated several boss, revenant, Slayer, and monster defensive stats.
Rolling server events now rotate at the start of each real-world hour.
Updated Revenant Maledictus scaling and rewards.
Fixed revenant weapon upgrades, charge checks, and death returns.
Fixed deep-Wilderness PvM death handling.
Fixed Ava’s device ammo-saving behaviour.
Fixed anglerfish and Saradomin brew overhealing with Hitpoints prestige.
Fixed recoloured crystal armour set bonuses and charge preservation.
Ironman Donor Shop
More Ironman donor shop quality-of-life stock has been added across Premium, Respected, Legendary, and Uber ranks.
New stock includes items such as:
Charged Slayer rings
Farming supplies
Magic secateurs
Dwarf cannon set
Steel bars
Combat Accuracy
Player accuracy has been updated for:
Melee
Magic
Ranged
Bolt special attacks
Special weapons
These now use the proper OSRS-style hit chance calculation.
This should make combat accuracy feel more consistent across different weapons, styles, and bonuses.
Magic Damage
Elemental combat spell damage has been updated.
Elemental weaknesses, tome effects, gear bonuses, and target bonuses now apply in the intended order.
Monster Stats
Several bosses, revenants, Slayer monsters, and other monsters have had their combat stats updated to better match expected OSRS values.
Dawn’s Defence, Magic level, and Magic defence have been fixed.
Nex and the God Wars Dungeon bosses have also had missing defensive values corrected.
Rolling Server Events
Rolling server events now rotate at the start of each real-world hour.
They no longer start their timer based on when the server was last started.
Revenant Maledictus
Revenant Maledictus has been updated.
Its hitpoints now scale based on real online players.
Active spawns are also capped based on population.
Kills now guarantee either an ancient emblem or ancient totem, with two extra revenant common reward rolls.
Revenant Weapons
Revenant weapon handling has been cleaned up.
This includes:
Craw’s bow
Webweaver bow
Viggora’s chainmace
Ursine chainmace
Thammaron’s sceptre
Accursed sceptre
Ornamented sceptres
Their Wilderness and Uber revenant dungeon boosts now use the same checks.
Lethal Attunement now preserves revenant weapon charges while keeping the intended Wilderness and revenant damage boosts.
Revenant Weapon Upgrades and Charges
Ferox Enclave revenant weapon upgrades have been fixed.
Craw’s bow now upgrades into Webweaver bow with the correct Venenatis fang requirement.
Upgraded revenant weapons also keep their existing ether charges.
Charge checks now show the actual revenant ether count and percentage instead of hiding low-charge weapons behind a misleading display.
If charged revenant weapons are lost on death, upgraded and ornamented versions now return the correct uncharged weapon plus remaining revenant ether.
Wilderness Deaths
Deep-Wilderness monster deaths have been fixed for certain protected items.
Items like Ava’s assembler and imbued Slayer helmets now use PvM recovery through Death’s Office when lost to monsters, instead of using PK loss rules.
Ava’s Devices
Ava’s attractor, accumulator, assembler, and related variants have been fixed.
Ranged ammo break, drop, and preservation chances now use the correct device rates.
Overhealing
Anglerfish, blighted anglerfish, and Saradomin brews now scale properly with Hitpoints prestige.
They no longer stop at the normal Hitpoints cap when your prestige bonus should allow more.
Crystal Armour
Recoloured helms, bodies, and legs now count toward Crystal bow and Bow of faerdhinen set bonuses (crystal accuracy / damage bonus).
Recolouring crystal armour also preserves existing charges.
