Veridia 0.12.0: Veridia Rebrand and Construction Fixes

Veridia 0.12.0 continues the public rebrand work while tightening up a large batch of Construction issues across player-owned houses.

This update focuses heavily on servant behavior, build-mode stability, garden layouts, workshop furniture, dungeon objects, and a few awkward Construction edge cases that could cause missing furniture pieces or incorrect object spawns.

Highlights

  • Public client and server surfaces now use Veridia branding.

  • Voting and update-log links now point to the current Veridia website and news/API URLs.

  • POH servants can once again leave for errands, return properly, and be interacted with in-house.

  • Several servant payment, hiring, firing, bank overflow, and repeat-task edge cases have been fixed.

  • Superior garden marble walls now build and remove correctly from all wall segments.

  • Garden, workshop, dungeon, combat room, throne room, and menagerie layouts now refresh more reliably.

  • Oak dining tables and wooden larder requirements have been corrected.

Veridia Rebrand

Public-facing client and server surfaces have been updated to use Veridia branding.

This includes login and background artwork, store screens, custom item labels, broadcasts, Discord references, documentation, and in-game help text.

Voting and update-log links have also been updated so they now point to the current Veridia website, news pages, and API-provided URLs.

POH Servant Fixes

POH servants should now behave much more reliably inside player-owned houses.

Servants can be interacted with in-house, leave for tasks, return after scheduled errands, and expose their Talk-to option correctly.

Several servant edge cases were also fixed, including:

  • Completed-task payment handling.

  • Hiring and firing payment progress.

  • Cancelled away errands.

  • Bank-full deposit overflow.

  • Owner-only build-mode interactions.

  • Repeat-last behavior for one-off deposit or unnote tasks.

Construction Layout Fixes

A large part of this update focuses on Construction furniture and hotspot layouts refreshing correctly.

Superior garden marble walls now use the correct built object ids across all wall segments. This should prevent stuck movement and build-mode crashes, while also allowing the wall to be removed from any segment.

Formal garden hedges have also been corrected so each hedge tier refreshes the proper three-piece layout.

Additional layout fixes were made for:

  • Workbenches

  • Crafting tables

  • Dungeon stairs

  • Combat rings

  • Throne floor traps

  • Oubliette floor traps

  • Menagerie arenas

Workshop and Furniture Fixes

Workshop tool stores now refresh as proper multi-segment layouts instead of only spawning the clicked segment.

Tool store 4 also now has the corrected level requirement.

Construction building and flatpack assembly have been hardened so initial placement goes through the proper hotspot refresh path. This helps prevent multi-segment furniture and placeholder layouts from spawning only one piece or creating invalid empty objects.

Furniture lookup handling has also been tightened so placeholder layout objects are no longer treated as real furniture.

Menu and Requirement Corrections

Construction menu order and build kit ids were cleaned up for several furniture types, including throne levers, bedroom corner furniture, chapel icons, skill-hall displays, quest-hall displays, and mounted Silverlight.

Oak dining tables now render the correct oak table object instead of reusing the wooden dining table object.

The wooden larder Construction level requirement has also been corrected.

Closing Note

0.12.0 is a cleanup-heavy update, but it should make POH building and servant behavior feel much more consistent. It also keeps the Veridia rebrand moving across the places players actually see in-game.
